Our equipment list includes: digital full body and digital dental radiographs, Midmark high speed dental unit, Oncura ultrasound, Companion therapy Laser, Tonovet tonometer, Cardell/Midmark surgical monitors, Heska fluid pumps, Idexx Pro Cyte and Catalyst in-house laboratory, utilize various outside reference laboratories, CO2 Surgical Laser, Electronic medical records, and have access to nearby specialty practices. Our surgical suite accommodates routine and advanced soft tissue surgeries and would entertain interest in orthopedics. Blairs Ferry Pet Hospital is an established practice in our community. Requirements
Compassionate and enthusiastic individuals with a desire for continued learning, mentoring and a passion for patient care should apply. Applicants must have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, broad internal medicine base with the ability to perform diagnostic work-ups, proficient surgical skills, demonstrate a commitment to continuing education and promote the human-animal bond. Experienced individual seeking full time position preferred but we will consider a new graduate interested in practicing outstanding companion animal wellness care, medicine and surgery. Individual must have an active DVM or VMD to practice medicine and surgery.
