Dr. John Tait

Dr. John Tait is an Assistant Professor at the Ontario Veterinary College where he currently teaches personal financial planning, career planning, and practice economics and management to veterinary students.  In addition to his work at the University of Guelph, John is also a Practice Management and General Consultant to the industry where he specializes in practice evaluations, feasibility studies, startups, transition planning, and personal financial planning.

John brings with him years of experience working in the veterinary industry having been a private practitioner for 9 years, and serving as Vice President of Veterinary Centres of America, the largest acquisition and consolidation group in the United States. John also served as the Director of Veterinary Teaching Hospital at the OVC for 5 years and has recently served as president of the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA).
